Everything you've ever sent and received on WhatsApp is technically still there. Scroll far enough back and you'll find it. The problem isn't storage — it's retrieval. When a customer calls and asks about their balance and you have 47 chats and 200 voice notes from the last month, WhatsApp offers you a search bar and good luck.
HERE is built specifically for the retrieval problem. You forward what matters; HERE remembers it in a way that can be queried. Here are three questions that come up constantly in our pilot — and how the experience differs.
1. "Sharma ka bakaya kitna hai?"
A customer calls. They want to discuss their order. Before the conversation gets anywhere, you need to know where their account stands. What do they owe? What did they last pay? When?
You open WhatsApp, search "Sharma", get four different Sharmas, scroll back through dozens of messages looking for the last payment screenshot, try to add up what you remember in your head, probably tell the customer you'll call them back, and spend the next five minutes doing something that should have taken five seconds.
Five seconds. On the phone, without breaking stride. This is the single most-used query in the pilot.
2. "Kal Rajinder ne kya order kiya tha?"
You made a delivery this morning. Something doesn't match what you remember from yesterday's conversation. Was it 15 sheets or 20? Same site or different one? Payment immediate or next week?
The voice note Rajinder sent is somewhere in your WhatsApp. It's probably 45 seconds long. You'd have to stop what you're doing, find it, listen to the whole thing again. And if you're driving — which you likely are — you can't do any of that safely.
HERE transcribed that voice note when you forwarded it, extracted the structured facts, and stored them. Now you have the answer without ever needing to find or replay the audio.
3. "Is screenshot mein kis customer ka payment tha?"
A UPI payment comes in. ₹7,500. The sender name says something that doesn't quite match any customer you're thinking of. Six months later you're reconciling and you have no idea who this payment was from or what it was for.
You dig through WhatsApp's media gallery, try to match transaction IDs, call two people who might know, eventually either write it off or leave it as a mystery in your mental ledger.
Forwarded at the time, confirmed with one tap. Now it's in the record. When you ask about Mohan six months later, HERE knows exactly what he paid and when.
The pattern behind all three
None of these are exotic use cases. They're the most ordinary questions a small business owner asks on any given day. The reason WhatsApp can't answer them isn't a flaw — WhatsApp is a messaging app, not a business memory. It does its job extremely well.
HERE does a different job. It takes what already flows through WhatsApp and turns it into something you can query. Not a better filing cabinet — a librarian who reads everything and remembers all of it.
WhatsApp gives you a filing cabinet. HERE gives you a librarian.
If any of these three questions sound familiar from your own day, we'd like to talk. Private pilot, six months free for the first five merchants who join.
